For the Adidas SUPERSTAR Sneaker Toolkit, Koyu crafted a visually engaging branding toolkit that highlights the sneaker's iconic status. The brochure features a cohesive set of brand elements, including logo, typography, iconography, colors, and patterns, all designed to reflect the bold, urban identity of the SUPERSTAR line. Each component was carefully tailored to resonate with sneaker enthusiasts, presenting the sneaker as the central focus of the brand’s story while ensuring every detail reinforces its timeless appeal.

Originally popular among professional basketball players in the United States in 1969, the Adidas SUPERSTAR became an icon in sports and streetwear culture. Drawing from Adidas' rich product story, Koyu analyzed its key elements and functional design, distilling them back to their original shapes and lines to preserve its heritage while reimagining its visual identity for modern audiences. Nowadays, Adidas SUPERSTAR is an iconic show that expresses the street lifestyle.
It was an EXCITING experience to closely examine the shoe’s design and transform its visual essence into a refined design piece!

Balancing Creativity and Technical Precision
Koyu's experience with Adobe InDesign reinforced the importance of maintaining creative control as a graphic designer, rather than being constrained by technical limitations. Precise alignment and kerning play a critical role in achieving a polished and professional design. She recognized the need to deepen my proficiency with the software to enhance crafting and ensure that technical expertise complements and elevates my creative vision.
